Asian Celebration! Year of the Pig! – Eugene Springfield NAACP
The 34th annual event celebrates the theme Year of the Pig — Get Spirited Away with two full days of nonstop activities for all ages. The doors open both days at a. Both days feature colorful entertainment and cultural dances on three different stages; demonstrations of crafts, martial arts, and cooking Asian cuisine; a fine arts and Asian Heritage exhibit, Marketplace and Asian food vendors, and youth activities in several locations at the Events Center. First time to perform on the main stage this year is the Minidoka Swing Band from Portland.
I personally wanted to share our gratitude to all of you for your support of the Oregon Asian Celebration. This event is our unified way of celebrating diversity, unity, family and most of all community. We all hope that enjoyed the event as much as we did putting it on and thank you for taking the time to be a part of the celebration.
